CMIP6 statistically downscaled agroclimatic indices 15 indices from three models (HadGEM3-GC31-LL, UKESM1-0-LL, and KACE-1-0-G) have been updated with data from the corrected CanDCS-U6 dataset (longest hot spell days (25°C, 30°C, 33°C, 35°C, 37°C), longest hot spell nights (18°C, 20°C, 22°C, 25°C) hot day and night, frost free days, killing frost free days, and growing season length (cool season, warm season, and overwintering crops)). This affects all users who downloaded these datasets prior to September 25, 2024. Please see the technical notes for more details. 2024-09

CMIP6 MBCn statistically downscaled climate scenarios / indices (CanDCS-M6) Shared Socio-economic Pathway (SSP) 3-7.0 has been added to the CanDCS-M6 scenarios and indices datasets. Note: only one run (r1i1p2f1) of the CanESM5 is available, and three models were not available and are therefore excluded (HadGEM3-GC31-LL, KACE-1-0-G, and KIOST-ESM). 2024-09
CMIP6 MBCn statistically downscaled climate scenarios (CanDCS-M6) The Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium (PCIC) has re-run CanDCS-M6 simulations of daily precipitation to correct for outliers. Additionally, corrections were made to r3i1p2f1 of CanESM5 SSP1-2.6 from mid- to end-of-century (2060-2100) in the CanDCS-M6 dataset. 2024-09

Seasonal forecasts The interactive overlay data and downloadable data on the seasonal forecasts for Canada page now uses a different method of interpolation, to improve alignment between probability categories. Additionally, sea surface temperature data was improperly masked, and should now be available for a larger area. These changes do not affect the global seasonal forecast data, the city table, or the graphics. 2022-12
